Info Request - Fantasy World in Paducah, KY

This little piggy found himself in Paducah, KY a couple weeks and made his usual stops at Romantix and Tammy's (I stayed away from Athena's this time) and in my travels came across a place called Fantasy World on Clark's River Rd. The place looked pretty big, had quite a few cars in the lot, and like it might have some promise.  Sadly..I did not have time to stop in this time.  Can anyone out there tell me a little about this place?  I've read online that there is lingerie modeling but the rest of what I have heard is a bit murky.  Is there a Theater?  Video booths?  Do couples go here?  Any kind of price info?  Any additional information would be helpful.  Leave in comment section or feel free to email me directly at 1ginney.pig@gmail.com   Thanks, Ya'll.

Gulf Coast Adult Theater - Biloxi, MS

Howdy, Readers.  Well, this summer is starting get really get away from us, huh?  I'm sorry for the delay in between reports, but my real job and life in general has kept the Pigman from doing some reporting, but he did manage to get out of the sty and enjoy some bookstore time.  I recently found myself on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico in Biloxi, MS.  Here is my review. 






Gulf Coast Adult Theater (222 Iberville Dr, Biloxi, MS)

Overall Rating:  4 out of 5 Stars


Pros / Basics:

• 1 good size theater with about 40 seats and 3-4 couches playing straight porn.
• $10 to enter.  They stamp your hand, so re-entry is allowed as long as you don't wash off your stamp.
• The theater is super clean and the seats are very comfortable.
• Clientele is a mix of cruisers, older married guys, and tourists that include couples.
• Couples get in free on Wednesday, Friday & Saturday
• Staff is friendly, and selection of toys, movies and magazines are plentiful.
• Location appears to be fairly safe and just down the road from the Gulf of Mexico and the casinos.

Cons:

• No Peeps or Video Arcade.  Theater only.
• Some of the single guys, at least during my visit were a too aggressive when a couple arrived and didn't let them settle in. 

 In closing, I really enjoyed this place and I will certainly be back.  If you find yourself on vacation or just passing through like I was, give this place a try.

Twitter & Facebook Field Reports

Howdy, Fellow Pervs.  Last week I had the pleasure of getting out on the road and found myself in what I consider my second home....Louisville.  So MANY options there for a fella like me to get in to some adult adventure there and with a few stops in between there and Nashville.  Anyways...I did my normal loop...Horse Cave, Louisville Manor, Metro Station, and Theatair X and back and decided this time to kick the tires on doing a couple live field reports via my Twitter account.  They seemed to be received well....for the small audience that I've captured so far anyways, and I plan on continuing to do them going forward as I visit my favorite book stores and theaters.  I plan on linking up and using to my new Facebook account as well.  My goal here is to create a network of like minded people who enjoy sharing their experience and hell...who knows, maybe meet up some day for a drink & friendship or something more adventurous.  Anyways....for those interested in following me on Twitter or friending me on Facebook, my contact info is as follows:

Review: Paris Theater & Fantasy Zone in Memphis, TN

Greetings, Readers.  I hope everyone had a great 4th.   My travels recently took me last to Memphis, TN where I visited a usual stop of mine, The Paris Theater, and ventured in to Fantasy Zone for my very first time.   Here are my reviews of both:


Paris Theater (Summer Ave)

Overall Rating:  3.5 out of 5 Stars


Pros / Basics:

• 2 small, but clean theaters.  1 playing straight porn, and one playing gay porn.  $7 to enter one or $15 for both.
• Clientele is the usual mix of cruisers, older married guys, and the occasional couple.
• Staff is friendly, and selection of toys, movies and magazines are plentiful.

Cons:

• No Peeps or Video Arcade.  Theaters only.
• ALL of the places in Memphis use this electronic card access system to access theaters peep booth (other locations) in lieu of just using cash and half the time....they do not work and you have to go back to the counter and have it replaced. 
• After dark....Memphis is a scary place, so...heads up when leaving or returning to your car.

Fantasy Zone (N. Watkins St.)

Overall Rating:  4 out of 5 Stars


Pros / Basics:

• $5 to enter the theater area which includes a good size open big screen theater with about 4 rows of seats, and a room off to the front left for those who want privacy.
• Arcade / Peeps area with about 10 booths some with gloryholes, and almost all of them with "buddy Windows".
• Saw more couples here in one day than I have anywhere other than Horse Cave in KY.  Aside from that...the clientele is the usual. 
• Place is relatively clean.
• Staff is friendly (Guy at the counter let me in free because it was my first visit) and there is a great selection of toys, movies & magazines.

Cons:

• Peep Booth's are not private, and use that unreliable electronic card system.  There is one booth I found that took cash.
• The location is sketchy to say the least.  Its right next to a gated up liquor store in not a great part of Memphis.   Again...use caution when going to and from your car. 

So...in a nutshell....Memphis is always a fun trip, and though I do like the Paris....I will be giving Fantasy Zone a little more of my time the next pass through.  I'm kicking myself it took me this long to get there.

Review: Downtown Adult Books / Paris Theater, and Alabama Adult Bookstore (Birmingham, AL)

Greetings, Ladies & Gents.  During a recent trip to the Iron City I found myself in these 2 places to unwind after a long day of work.  Here is my review of 2 places in Birmingham, AL. that the natives told me to check out.  Enjoy.


Downtown Adult Books / Paris Theater (Reverend Abraham Woods JR Blvd)


Overall Rating:  2.5 out of  5 Stars


Pros / Basics: 

• 1 medium sized theater (Paris Theater) is located in the back left of the store showing straight porn and can be accessed for $10 at the counter.  There is also an arcade area to the back right with about 16-20 peep booths some with glory holes.
• Clientele is mostly guys cruising other guys, but it's not uncommon to encounter a couple in action there in the theater.
• Store has a great selection of movies, toys, and magazines

Cons:

• Peep booths are rip off, dirty, smelly, and equipment is old.  $1 got me only 1 minute and 20 seconds of viewing time.  Not even enough time to scroll all the channels.  Most pay per view places give you around 3-4 minutes for a $1.
• If you leave the theater to stretch your legs, use the bathroom, and visit the peeps....they will only allow you to re enter theater 3 times.  Guess it's too much work to put down your smoke and push a frickin button.  BS.
• No Cellphones are allowed in the theater...though no one really enforces that one.
• This is a place that loves to make rules and handmade signs reminding you of them or enforcing them.  They are everywhere! 
• Located in a bad area of town.
• Staff is not that friendly.

Alabama Adult Books (3rd Ave. N)


Overall Rating:  3.5 out of 5 Stars


Pros / Basics:

• Adult Arcade is at the front of the store with about 10 peep booths that is $5.50 to enter.  You are issued $5 in store currency to be used in the peep booths.
• Booths and arcade area are pretty clean.  Booths are newer. Some with "Buddy Windows". Some with glory holes.  Some with both. Complete opposite of  Downtown Adult Books.    
• There is a couples room to the front and smaller rooms or nooks towards the back.
• Clientele are guys cruising guys, but because of the cleanliness and the privacy you get couples that hit this place too.
• Staff is SUPER friendly and they have a good selection of adult products. 

Cons:

• No Theater.  Just an arcade.
• Peeps are pay per view, but you get far more viewing time for your money than Downtown Adult Books.

All in all...I really like, and was impressed by Alabama Adult Books more than Downtown Adult Books even though there is not a theater.  I'll be back again soon!

Review: Theatair X (Jeffersonville, IN)

Greetings, All.  If you ever find yourself in Louisville, our next theatre / bookstore is just a 10 minute drive across the Ohio River in to Indiana.  It's one of my many "must stops" when traveling in this part of the world.  Enjoy.


Theatair X (Jeffersonville, IN)


Overall Rating:  4 out of 5 Stars


Pros: 

• $10 or $15 access to 2 big screen theatres depending on if you want to go in to just the straight porn theatre or access the gay theatre as well.
• Impressive amount of private Peep Booths with a lot of glory holes.
• Clientele is hit of miss depending on your flavor, but if you are cruising for guys...you'll have no problem.  This place seems to draw more couples to the peep area than the theatre area. 
• The place is pretty clean, well lit at night and staff is friendly enough.
• Very nice selection of Movies, Magazines & Toys.
• Great location.  Quick drive in to or from Louisville.  Quick drive off the interstate on US31.

Cons:

• Peeps are pay per view, so....bring a lot of change.
• Cruising Guys can sometimes be almost stalker like in following you and getting in your personal space in the Peeps area. 
• Theatres though having pretty good size have rickety old theatre chairs that are not all that comfortable. 
• The place was raided by the police in 2013, 2014 & 2015.  It only makes sense that a 2016 raid is imminent. So....heads up! 

Overall...this place is a fun stop that I add to my to do list.

Review: Cinema One (Chattanooga, TN)

Happy Monday, Fellow Theatre Dwellers.  Today I will do a quick review of another one of my favorite places....Cinema One in Chattanooga, TN.

Overall Rating:  4.5 out of 5 Stars
Pros / Basics:

• $15 to enter if you are an existing member of the "1 Club" which gives unlimited access to both theatre area and peeps / arcade area.  Couples get in free on Wednesday.
•  Theatre is huge showing straight porn and contains a couples only theatre within it,,,also showing straight porn.. with windows to watch the action within if you weren't lucky enough to get invited in.
• Arcade area has several peep booths playing every flavor of porn
• Clientele is a mix of guys cruising or couples.  I've seen more couples here than most places I've been to.
• This place is super clean and has a designated smoking room that also has movies playing in it. 
• Staff is really friendly.
• Store has nice selection of movies and toys.

Cons:

• The cons are very few, so this is just nit picking, but the first time you go there you must buy a $18 "1 Club" membership and sign a waiver that you are not law enforcement. 
• The peep booths have no doors, so if you like to enjoy your porn in private...its not going to happen here. 
• Like most places....this is located in a rougher part of Chattanooga, but the place is surrounded by a privacy gate and lot is pretty well lit.

Review: Tammy's, Romantix & Athena's (Paducah, KY.)

Greetings, to my readers who have read this blog so far.  Thanks for checking in and checking this out.  If you like what you read here...please spread the word. 


Anyways....today's review is about Paducah, KY. and it's 3 Adult Bookstores / Theatres.  I hope you will find this useful.  Feel free to let me know if you do.  Here we go........


Tammy's Adult Boutique: (243 Brown Street):


Overall Rating:  3 out of 5 Stars


Pros: 

• 2 theatres...1 straight, and 1 gay.  $10 to access both or $7 for one or the other.  Keep your receipt!  The cost is good for the entire day in case you have to leave.  When you come back....just show the receipt to the clerk plus a $1 re-entry fee and that gets you back in the theatres.
• Staff is very friendly and the place is clean.
• Clientele is a mix depending on when you come.  Mostly guys cruising other guys, but adventurous couples have been known to take a break from browsing the toys in the store grace the straight theatre.
• Great selection of DVDs, toys and magazines.
• Just a short drive (1-2 minutes) down Irvin Cobb Dr. to their sister bookstore Romantix.

Cons:

• No Arcade or Peeps.  Theatres only.
• This is just my opinion....but I think they have the theatres backwards.  The gay theatre is larger, more secluded in the back of the store, has more privacy within and has much more comfortable seating that I think would draw more couples in.  The current straight theatre has one small couch and maybe 4-6 chairs in a tiny room. Again...just my own thoughts on the layout.
• Okay...the following must just be a Paducah thing, because I've never experienced the outright disregard of personal space by some of the gay guys in all 3 of these theatres anywhere than I do when I come to Paducah.  I get that people in this setting are looking to nut, but damn....when I'm not putting out signals and minding my own business, or I say I'm not interested, PLEASE don't think that by you coming up and placing you hand on my leg is going to get me to change my mind.  Then....PLEASE do not follow up by whining about it to me.  One older blond guy in particular that I experienced at both here at Tammy's and at Romantix  just would not take no and move on to someone that would be in to what he wanted and felt compelled to debate me about it.  Completely ruins the experience for me.  Again....this is really a Paducah issue, and not a Tammy's issue.
• Parking is tight and exiting the parking lot is tricky.  So is the traffic light you encounter when you leave.  It's on a weird angle.

Romantix: (705 Main St):


Overall Rating:  3.5 out of 5 Stars


Pros: 

• 1 extremely clean theatre playing straight movies.  $9 for all day access.  Keep your receipt, because there is a $1 entry fee if you decide to leave and return later.  
• Staff is very friendly, and the store looks new as of this review.
• Clientele is a mix depending on when you come.  Most couple friendly of the 3 Paducah theatres because of location and cleanliness. 
• HUGE store with wide selection of about anything adult oriented you need.
• Just a short drive (1-2 minutes) down Irvin Cobb Dr. to their sister bookstore Tammy's.

Cons:

• No Arcade or Peeps.  Theatre only.
• Again....like I mentioned in the Tammy's review, the gay guys cruising here and the other 2 theatres can be aggressive in your personal space, and do not want to accept the word "no" without a debate or whining about it.  Especially beware of one older blond guy I encountered both here and at Tammy's.  He will not relent easily.  So....If you are there just watching the porn or waiting with fingers crossed that a couple will show up....you've been warned.  Again....this is really a more of Paducah issue, and not the store's fault.

Athena's Bookstore:  (Corner of N. 8th Ave & Burnett):


Overall Rating:  1 out of 5 Stars


Pros: 

• I'm REALLY Struggling to find "Pros" here, so let's just talk about the basics.
• $8 to enter.
• 1 theater playing straight porn and an open (no booths) arcade with about 10 TVs playing a variety of movies.     
• Clientele are mostly gay guys cruising, but I've been told, though never have seen it myself... that couples do show up here on occasion.   

Cons:

• Good Luck find a sign that says "Athena's Bookstore".  There isn't one to be seen anywhere.
• This place is a Shit Hole, and one of the dirtiest places I've ever been to complete with the creepy clientele to match.  I won't believe any couples come here at all until I see it myself.
• Not to beat a dead horse....but like the other 2 places...we encounter that Paducah no regard for personal space issue followed by the usual debate and or whining about it.  One guy made me so uncomfortable that I left the place long before I wanted to.
• The peeps have no privacy to really enjoy the movies showing.
• Small selection of toys, magazines and DVDs. 
• Located in a rough part of town.  After dark...the area is not lit well and a bit creepy.

Review: DC's Video (Horse Cave, KY)

A review of one of my favorite places.  Your feedback is always welcome.

Overall Rating:  4 out of  5 Stars


Pros: 

• $20 buys access to 2 theatres (one straight / one gay) with comfortable couches AND unlimited use of private arcade booths....some complete with gloryholes.  The variety allows for many hours of fun.
• Clientele is usually a pretty good mix.  Because of the closeness to the interstate, there are usually lots of truckers in the mix, but there is everything from guys cruising guys...to couples with other couples, and guys looking to share their wives or girlfriends.  It's also not out of the ordinary to encounter those who cross dress or are all out Trans genders here.  In a nutshell...there is usually something for everyone, but sometimes patience is required. 
• The actual book store is HUGE.  Great selection of movies, magazines and toys at pretty decent prices.
• The staff is very friendly. 
• Convenient location.  Right off of I-65 (Exit 58) in Kentucky between Louisville and Nashville.

Cons: 

• Smoking is allowed in the arcade area, and there is no way you can leave there without smelling like smoke.  It's overwhelming.  If you are going there on the DL and have someplace to be when you leave, you may want to consider bringing a fresh change of clothes.
